IMO, he is fantastic value at this point, and will be my leader on defense.

I got my pass-rusher, now its time to get my defensive anchor/leader

    London Fletcher, MLB

At 31, he is a little bit on the older side, but he was very good last year, and shows no sign of decline after leading the league in tackles.

    146 total tackles, 2 sacks, 4 int, 1 td

With the rule that we're allowed minor position changes, I have decided to make Shawne Merriman a 4-3 DE. He is 270 pounds, as heavy if not heavier then most 4-3 DE's, so size and strength to shed off blockers is not a problem. He also plays DE when San Diego goes to a 4-man line, and plays very strongly. We've seen guys like Terrell Suggs make the transition back and forth, so Merriman can do it too. With that being said, I'll assist my 4-3 defense by adding:

    OLB Lance Briggs, Chicago Bears

Lance Briggs is an absolute animal, scooping up tackles left and right for the NFL's best defensive unit. Also one of the best OLB's in pass coverage in the NFL, with 2 INT's and 8 passes defended last year (also has 3 INT's returned for TD's in his 4-year NFL career). At 26, and being so well-balanced between pass and run defense, he's a great guy to build my LB core around

I select DE Aaron Schobel. He is very underrated, but has consistently put up excellent numbers throughout his 6 year career. He has had over 10 sacks 3 times, and 8 or more twice. Also, he has never missed a game in his 6 year career.

QB Matt Leinart-Nobody left except the young prospect. Already Have Boldin so theres a tad bit of chemistry going. Ive been a critic of his but he does show some potential to be a prototype qb.

LT Tarik Glenn-Protected Manning, LT on the team with the 2nd fewest sacks allowed.

One of the biggest offensive playmakers in the league that can carry the rock and create major mismatches as a receiver coming out of the backfield.

I select 3-4 OLB from the Cleveland Browns: Kamerion Wimbley....a First round pick last year who had 11 sacks as a rookie and had one of the most amount of "stuffs" in the league of any player, meaning he is just as good against the run. This beast will team with my other 3-4 OLB DeMarcus Ware in my defense and absolutely wreck opposing QB's off the edges....they're both young as hell too, SCARY.

With his 5th round pick Ten selects CB Nnamdi Asomugha of the raiders.
    Noooooooooooooooooo!I got drafted by Ten!

Nnamdi was probably considered the second best corner last year(behind Champ Bailey),when you combine this with his age he's probably the best young corner in the game. He's known for being an all round player,he can play bump and run but can still defend the deepball,he can go to the ball and make the interception or can knock the ball out of the receivers hands in the last moment. He was named to 2nd all pro team by the associated press this year.
