Ok guys this one is outside the box.....I plan on running a 3-4 defense and this guy will be a dominant force at end......I thought of him, and looked up his draft profile from 2004, and found this: Position: Defensive Tackle School: Oklahoma Status: Junior Height: 6-3 Weight: 290 40-Yard Dash: 4.70 Positives: Tommie Harris is a quick and powerful defensive lineman. He gets off the ball as quick as any tackle in the country, and he has the ability to slip blocks. He is very athletic for his size and has a knack for getting off blocks and getting penetration into the backfield. He has very good pass rushing skills, yet he holds up well against the run. He has started since he was a true freshman at Oklahoma, so he has tons of experience for an underclassmen. He also has good closing speed for a big man. Negatives: The only real knock on Harris has been his size. He weighs close to 290 now, which isn't bad for a one-gap tackle, and with his frame, he could easily put on another 10 pounds. He could also be moved to defensive end in the NFL, especially in a 3-4 defense. King Koopa selects: DE Tommie Harris from the Chicago Bears.
Matt Light, LT Matt has been the anchor of a very underappreciated NE Patriots offensive line throughout their dynasty run. At 28, he has many productive years to come and will be a veteran leader on my offense. There are some younger guys, there are some more well known guys, but I feel like this is the perfect young veteran to anchor my line. Light has played in and started 12 career playoff games, including each of the Patriots' three Super Bowl victories. In 2006, Light started all 16 regular season games and each of the Patriots' three playoff contests at left tackle. He was part of an offensive line that paved the way for 1,969 rushing yards in 2006. In 2003, Light started every game for an offensive line that did not allow a sack in any of the team's three playoff games en route to victory in Super Bowl XXXVIII. As a rookie in 2001, Light started 12 of 14 regular season games as New England averaged 112.2 rushing yards per game and claimed the Super Bowl XXXVI championship.
Now that I have my big NT....I am going to take another LB. This guy will benieft from Wilfork a lot. I'm taking Jon Vilma....Him and Urlacher will be part of the best LB core in the league.
Jetsfan119 selects: Javon Walker Has many years ahead of him. Did a great job of getting to 1,000 yds with not many completions, but will get more next year. He's a very solid #1 WR
Sorry, I'm late I know. I just saw my schools hockey team take down the #1 team in NY State. Wooooo. Anyway.. My pick... Most underrated runningback out there.. Deuce McCalister
phenomenal value to me. He is one of the best if not the best at his position. TCMC selects: T.O. Jerk, YES. Great player, no doubt.
I select WR Hines Ward. Some, maybe most, will disagree with this pick; but he is a great receiver and a great blocker. He will provide a great target Drew Brees, and help Addai with the running game.
I will select OG Shawn Andrews, Philadelphia Eagles Andrews is IMO the best OG in the game, and he is without a doubt the best young OG in the game. At 6'4" 340 pounds, he has the size and strength to block fat DT's better then anyone else in the game. Beastly run blocker, very good pass blocker.
Since Coach K's clock expired, I choose Adalius Thomas, OLB Coming off of an All-Pro season, Adalius has the ability to line up anywhere on the field, creating matchup problems with the opponents offense. Just his year he lined up at safety, linebacker, and defensive end. 89 tackles, 11 sacks, 1 int
