Justin Smiley-RG I'm almost surprised hes still here. Aside from Gore being a beast, hes a big reason they got the ground game going. A top OL prospect two years ago, he only started a few games at LG in 05. before being moved to RG to suit his power drive blocking specialty's. • Despite playing most of the season with a torn labrum, Smiley helped pave the way for a franchise-record rushing season for Frank Gore. • Smiley started every game for the 49ers at right guard and was awarded a game ball by Head Coach Mike Nolan, along with the entire offensive line, for their performance against Detroit (11-12) in which the offense racked up 198 rushing yards.
You guys might not like him because he's a fish now, but at this stage of the draft, i GOTTA! Mantana Soss selects Joey Porter, OLB, Miami Dolphins
TCMC selects TE Dallas Clark He can split out wide as a wr, athletic versatile and completes my offense which I feel is very good. Good catching skills, willing to go over the middle and a good run blocker.
I'm taking Marcedes Lewis, TE, Jags. While he only had 13 catches his rookie year. He is a beast of a man and will be huge target for my bad offense.
Ernest Wilford, WR - Jaguars A 6'4" strong, physical receiver with great hands and leaping ability. He's a big target for Cutler and a great red zone threat. He's not a speed demon but a solid possession receiver to move the chains.
I select Betrand Berry, DE from the Arizona Cardinals. Good runstopper, and solid pass rusher before his injury.
Odell Thurman, MLB - Bengals Thurman led the Bengals in tackles with 98 and led all rookies with five interceptions in 2005. He is one of the most promising young MLB prospects in the league and was a serious playmaker in his rookie season where he started every game. He missed last season due to legal issues, but as has already been pointed out - the rules of this draft do not take into consideration character issues so they should not be considered when evaluating a player. Thurman's suspension was due to a DWI while on probation in the league substance program and there is no reason to believe he will not be back on an NFL field in 2007. His athleticism and talent is undeniable. Bring on the critics ...
