I think as long as he is available the Jets will pounce on Jay Cutler and won't look back. 1st round- Jay Cutler 2nd round- Joseph Addai 3rd round- OT Assuming we get a late first or early second for Abe I would go defense with that pick.
it would be such a waste of a pick, the jets wont release Blaylock he has a 4 yr deal with the jets and if the would have released him the would have done it already
nothing is guranteed... trading up is still a posibilty. and cutler isnt guranteed to be there no morre
That's not a bad point. I doubt we would carry 4 RB's on the roster. Well then that makes it even more obvious we will wait until 2007 to draft a runner.
their would be no point in trading up and the titans would not take cutler but if the jets really wanted him the jets would move up but that will not happen.the jets will stay at 4 and they will take D'Brick
you do understand your not the jets GM right? everything is speculation cause no one knows what way the jets draft board will be set up come draft day.
the jets would be retarded to take a QB in the first round but anything can happen if the jets really need a QB. then they would take on in the 2nd and stead of waste a pick on a 1st rounded. i would have no problem with jets taking cutler or croyle but if the jets really think cutler is that good than he probley is and if the jets take him in the first round over D' brick it better be worth it
lol there will be another Dbrick next year... watch theres always some OT comes out being comepared pace and ogdon
yeah and there will be another cutler too is isnt a one of a kind, and all i am donin is giving my opion and so is every one else
people are blindsited by cutler saying he has a good arm but is acc. is not that good and you havent heard cutler being compared to anyone
but i will say this i dont hate cutler and i dont think he sucks he is good i just perfer D'brick better and B'brick or cutler i am happy whatever the jets do is for the best
But since were likely to be looking for a franchise qb anyway. why not get him now let him learn the playbook from day 1 like everyone else. sit on the bench for year gains some experience about the nfl. instead of takinng a wide eye rookie next year who too will need to sit for a year
If you are going to pay the money for a #4 pick then you at least pick a guy that will touch the friggin ball. No DL or OL!!!!!!! You pick a RB or QB in the top five. Maybe a CB or WR but that is it. Buffalo picked an OT and paid out all the cash and what did it get them? We paid Robertson all the money and got nothing in return. A DL or OL will not will you the game!!!!!
this may be the reason he is shooting draft charts like a rocket. hell at the rate he is going by draft day he may not even be a realistic prospect at #4. anyway to answer ur question he seems to draw alot of marino comparisions for his Quick release. but like said comparisons dont mean anything cause jay cutler will be the next jay cutler. we just have to figure out what that is
