Exactly. Who is to say we were even remotely interested in Jenkins? Tanny didn't screw up anyone. He had a great off season with the cap restriction he had coming out of last year. He kept his AFC Championship team intact. Only major change is the swap for Braylon and Plax, not a huge drop off. To top it off, we brought in Strickland, who I think can be great in this D playing as the dime. Rex' philosophy as a D is simple. We bring in more than u can block. We haven't had a great pass rusher in NY during his tenure and we made back to back AFCCG with a top 5 D in both years.
I think this defense is going to be very very good, we will finally be healthy and hopefully our draft picks (Wilkerson and Ellis) greatly improve the D-Line, I think if all goes well we should have 5 or more sacks next year. I personally would like another corner or safety, but I am confident in this Defense being the best in Rex's tenure
