The cramps certainly explain KW's absence, although I'm not sure why everyone would expect him to fill in for Cro anyway. Even if KW wasn't injured, I wouldn't be surprised at all to find Strick playing outside and KW staying in his nickel role. This would not be even the slightest knock on KW's cover skills or development, but rather reflect the fact that playing outside and inside are very different animals and KW is getting the vast majority of his reps inside.
