That analysis of Cro is right on point. A good QB will abuse him. We saw it a bunch last year. Cro is talented and he can have good games but he's extremely inconsistent. He's gonna get overpaid.
I think a lot of this Cromartie hate is coming from the fact that he opened his mouth in a seemingly negative light. Revis got the exact same reactions from people on here. But, watching all of the games last season, Cromartie earned his pay. He filled in for Revis extremely well when #24 went down with the hamstring. I absolutely want Cromartie back but not at a King's Ransom. Even with that 3 million dollar veteran borrowing money the Jets stand 5 million over the cap right now. We are going to lose key pieces, but we have a great FO right now and they will get more key pieces.
No way. Wherever Wilson plays this season, we have to keep him there. He obviously was never able to get comfortable switching from the outside to the nickel and vice versa. If we keep Cro, Wilson plays the nickel. If we lose Cro, Wilson's starting.
