This beer made me feel genuine feelings, just like a real man!

It's based on a 4000 year old recipe found in a tomb theorized to be that of King Midas himself! Also it's full of alcohol! It came in a 4 pack, and I was fucking sad when I ran out. I Highly recommend it! Dogfish Head makes it.

I was afraid you were going to say that.

I don't know...it just seems like a lot of cash to drop on something that is fairly easy to screw up, from what I've heard.

Scrugs...if you're a Dogfish Head fan you have to try the Miles Davis Bitches Brew. I'm not sure the alcohol content, but it was high (probably somewhere in the 8 to 9 percent range) and it was damn good. Made me a little light headed and very happy.

Yeah, I'm definitely a fan now.

COuple weeks back when I was snowed in -- I watched this 5 or 6 episode series on Discovery Channel On Demand called Brewmasters. It was all about the owner of Dogfish Head, and the brewing process. After about the 3rd episode, I had to brave the elements and trudge to the package store for some burs. Glad I did!

Around these parts, they really only sell the DFH in the "good" beer distributors, but that Bitches Brew is one of the best beers I've had recently. Their 120 minute IPA is really good, but with the price, I think it's a little overrated, but overall they make some pretty good brew.
Southern Tier, 21st Amendment, Green Flash, Goose Island, Six Point, Harpoon, Troegs, etc. there really are some damn good American beers/brewers around nowadays.
It's nice too...a lot of the distributors around me (middle Long Island) are developing growler stations and as a craft fan, getting it right in that growler is awesome. I had a disturbing obsession with Six Point (brewed in Brooklyn) last year. I went all over LI filling my growlers with any Six Point brew I could (Sweet Action, Begali Tiger IPA, Righteous Ale, etc.), because they don't bottle their beer. Frankly, I got a little sick of it because I was drinking it every weekend. Six Point is a great brew company I recommend to anyone, though.

Yes, its not bad. I just don't like Amber Ale too much.
However, it is a hoppy one.

I also never truly liked Pilsners until I tried the SA Noble Pils last year. I like it because I love hoppy beers.

No, it's more like a guy who goes after hot girls (micros) or the guy who goes after anything with a vagina (macros).

    Enjoy your piss water.

SA Noble may be the only beer from SA that i didn't like and i'm a big fan of hoppy beers. There was some odd aftertaste. I had it out of a beer and seriously wondered if there was something wrong, like it got hot and cold and hot and cold again and somehow turned. Will have to try on tap since I've heard so many people rave about it.

going out for Nugget Nectar cask tonight.
