I think aside from the Brady Patriots component, something seriously fucked up is going on with this whole thing. The court case was about Brady's likelihood for guilt as a component of the fairness of the "trial" with Berman's decision. Then, on appeal this court ruled that Brady being innocent didn't matter due to the CBA and the power ceded to Roger Goodell (the owners). The irony, is I'm fairly sure if you start winning a lot of the same ownership folks hating on the Pats would piss directly into the Jets mouth given the opportunity. I'm not sure why anyone would want to be the fan of a league that had chagrined billionaires playing games with any of their teams/players, and by extension their fans? But right now, for anyone not a Patriots fan this whole thing has been a real pleasing platter of hatred delivered with real effects, if that makes people happier, and then they run with it, why not? Reality is the lies, numbers and sequence of events and public record, and will stand the test of time. Nothing happened but some shit fer brains people in the NFL were asleep in 4th grade when they taught you that air compresses in cold and expands in heat and got themselves into a PR pickle. Then they barely needed to make an effort, they rode the wave of hatred to the end that pleased the most and a shitty labor contract made it easy. Anyway, fuck the NFL and it's ownership.
