Because according to "the patriot way" no one player is above the team. Because this is exactly (injury not suspension) how Brady got the job in the first place. I agree with you that you don't sit him but it is a valid question. It's not a valid question when he said the day before that Garoppalo was going to play the first four games and Brady was going to play as soon as he was reinstated. He also told him not 20 seconds before that he answered the QB question already. I would have mumbled Jesus Christ under my breath too. As far as the Pats taking it off the transcript.
