Then do some fucking team building activities. You think fans that pay to watch practice or media who are being paid to cover the team want to spend all their time guessing who is who? When Chuck Noll was doing it the NFL was no where near the media machine it is today. As well they did not have the limitations on practice due to safety they do today. No numbers make it much easier for him to sneak a player into practice that shouldn't be there, such as one going through concussion protocol. Not that BB would ever do anything underhanded like that. This isn't "pussification" this is being tired of a team constantly skirting the rules then they and their fan base cry when people call them anything but perfect lil choir boys. As for the Harbaugh thing, i give full credit to Emperor BB, that was just solid coaching. Thinking outside the box but 100% within the rules.
They only do it for the 3 days of spring minicamp. I seriously doubt a bunch of players are on concussion protocol since no contact was allowed prior to the camp. It also makes the coaching staff get to know the players. It gives the free agents and late round guys a fairer look, because when the coaches watch the practice tape they can't just focus on certain numbers. They've been doing it for quite a few years and nobody seemed to mind, but now it's an issue? In fact, I'm surprised more teams weren't doing it. As for the media, fuck them. As a jets fan I don't see why you would care about how fair they are being treated since the NY writers are always trying to undermine your team.
I could give a fuck about the media but they are a huge part of the leagues ability to print money, so I in no way am shocked the league would take their side on this. As for the "fairer look" i highly doubt any coach in the NFL is playing favorites. Especially from a team known to drop stars and fan favorites at the drop of a hat. Most teams have players last names printed across their forehead at spring practices to help coaches identify players and i don't see how this wouldn't make it harder.
There was no access to anyone back in day. Training camps and media were invitation only. But make no bones BB's whole coaching legacy is to cheat at everything that can be pushed. Why is he not in the coaches Union still? Antisocial psychopathic liar and cheat.....he's a disrespectful asshole and not liked because of his rogue mentality and having to prove he's acrually genuine He's a loser at life and sport Not sure why the NFL is so afraid to ban him
When a team tells you to cut shit out and then the league tells you to cut the shit out and you continue to do it, you suffer the consequences. _
The Pats and Belidouche no longer get the benefit of doubt when it comes to self policing. If there are any grey areas in the rules they will push the envelope. In this instance would it really surprise anyone (any rational, non-Belicheat pole smoker that is) if the Pats were doing this so players on the PUP could practice against the rules?
You can bet they're on watch as be pats and be injury report non sense have been synonymous with BB forever. Then there is this http://www.csnne.com/new-england-patriots/new-injured-reserve-rule-gives-patriots-roster-flexibility A little leeway here to watch them how they behave with injured players
Federal court just rejected Tom Brady's request to overturn his suspension. His last option is the Supreme Court (lol). It's over.
It was over before this appeal was even made, all we can hope now is that he or his wife or the union or his dwarf owner, whoever is financing this, wastes even more millions trying to appeal it to the supreme court who will simply laugh at him.
Now if Goodell really wants to show some guts he will vacate the '15 Superbowl winner as the Patriots shouldn't have been there to begin with and Brady certainly shouldn't have played the first 4 games..he only got that chance because a sleezie judge in NY owned by Kraft let him. Then a whole new round of suits can start.
Did the NFL already prepare for this by giving the other 3 AFC East teams BRUTAL beginnings to their schedule? Miami Dolphins Scores & Schedule Sun, Sep 11 @ Seahawks 3:05 PM Sun, Sep 18 @ Patriots 12:00 PM Sun, Sep 25 vs Browns 12:00 PM Thu, Sep 29 @ Bengals Buffalo Bills Scores & Schedule Sun, Sep 11 @ Ravens 12:00 PM Thu, Sep 15 vs Jets 7:25 PM Sun, Sep 25 vs Cardinals 12:00 PM Sun, Oct 2 @ Patriots New York Jets Scores & Schedule Sun, Sep 11 vs Bengals 12:00 PM Thu, Sep 15 @ Bills 7:25 PM Sun, Sep 25 @ Chiefs 3:25 PM Sun, Oct 2 vs Seahawks Now look at the Patriots schedule: New England Patriots Scores & Schedule Sun, Sep 11 @ Cardinals 7:30 PM Sun, Sep 18 vs Dolphins 12:00 PM Thu, Sep 22 vs Texans 7:25 PM Sun, Oct 2 vs Bills 12:00 PM 3 home games! This suspension will not hurt Brady or the Patriots at all. At worst they will be (2-2). The Jets would be happy to go (2-2) with those first 4 games. As would the Dolphins and Bills. It seems good now, but overall this will not hurt the Patriots at all. Literally a vacation for Brady, slap on the wrist for Pats, and lets them see what they have with Jimmy Garapawhateverhisnameis.
Br*dy is a liar, a fraud, and a blemish to the NFL. His reputation is tarnished, and deservedly so, as he's been dragging the league thru these appeals just to vainly protect his own self serving interests..... All that said, Belichick is what makes the Pats tick. They'll get out of those 4 games fine. Get ready for more headset issues during that home stretch at Foxboro, along with solid defense and special teams. With or without Br*dy, they won't be an easy out in Foxboro.
