    David Harris #52

Picking off Tom Brady during the divisional round against the Pats. Ruined Mr. Perfect's huge interception-less streak. Even though we didn't score off the opportunity he really set the tone for the game.

That was a big, big play in that game.

Great play call by Pettine/Rex.. they disguised Harris back there, making it look like Pace was the only guy covering the outside screen with him charging the pocket...Pace got his hand up forcing Brady to loft it over, but no worries - no one is there - - OH wait there's David Harris taking it the other way.. where did he come from??

The Pats were methodically moving down the field before that, after just beaten us 45-3. That game might've been very different if they take one in there as easy as they moved down the field. That was a huge momentum play. I have fun remembering Simms' commentary. All lined up for patriot ass kissing.. that whole drive just talking so much shit about how great they were. You could tell he had his script to kiss their ass all day. oops

NE was easily moving down the field, that play changed everything. Moments later we missed the kick to go up 3-0 so it felt empty but that was a huge play in that game.

Funny thing is I remembering reading after the game and how Rex showed up with the SAME defensive game plan that the Pats has just destroyed weeks earlier (flooding the field with every able bodied DB). It was the last thing Bellicheck was prepared for and had spent weeks preparing for anything BUT that.

Rex knew that by running the same D twice his own team would be better at running it and Rex saw just a few minor adjustments that would make a world of difference. I might be thinking about the wrong game but when our D took the field for the first snap Belli called a TO looking like WTF?

wow crable - he was a very good LB coming out of college but just couldnt stay healthy. really unfortunate as pairing him with mehl and later clifton would have been a high quality LB group behind klecko and gastineau.
