Bill Simpson and Charles Rhomes. That was a great game but an awful result.

Not trying to argue with you, but to me this is what I call "Patrick Ewing Syndrome", common in New York fans. The tendency to forget everything the guy did to lift the franchise from the dregs and get to the big spot a few times, and focus only on what went wrong at the end.

Good pics, I love the wide angle of the Maynard shot. Plenty of good seats available at Shea in those days.

I knew you would find a Jennings pic. When they reitred Maynard's #13 Jennings was still on the team and he switched to #4. I also love the etch-a-sketch big screen we have at the stadium.

Finding a Jennings w/ #4 is alot harder than #13.

He finished out the '87 season and that was it. Sadly, I think he isn't in good health today.

Where the hell was that Namath game being played ^. It looks like a third rate college stadium or a better than average HS stadium.

He had some good years for us, but just couldn't get us over the top...his fate coincided with Walt Michaels, who got the shaft!

Not at all. It's not Shea is it? It looks 200 years old.
