What am I supposed to do change teams like fireman Ed ? Or bail out when it gets rough ? If Kotite did not get rid of me no one or nothing will ! All of us TGG guys and gals bleed green ! If and when the circus leaves town and this owner and organization get their shit together and finally win a Superbowl it will all be worth it,,,,,hell they might have to sedate me for a few weeks as I will be outta my mind

I wouldn't leave the jets for another team. But if it got to the point where I could no longer watch the Jets I'd just stop watching football altogether.

If I became that disgusted I'd probably stop watching football all together rather then switch teams.

To me it's all the more satisfying when the team finally plays good and makes a playoff run. As painful as these last 2 years were I know we will turn things around and that will make it all the more sweeter.

I was born into being a Jets fan and raised on it for life. Also a lifelong season ticketholder.

With that being said, if Woody Johnson doesn't get serious about the team this offseason then I'm really not sure what to think about the direction of this franchise long-term, as long he owns the team.

This organization is the joke of not only the NFL right now but the entire sports world. No matter who you speak to they're talking about the circus that is the Jets.

If Woody does not do most of the following then this organization will never be a winner:

-New GM/Executive VP of Football Operations

    -New Head Coach

    -New Offensive Coordinator

-New QB (one via free agency and another via mid round draft pick)

There's obviously many more moves on offense that need to be made in addition to addressing some defensive concerns.

However those 4 positions listed will dictate the future of this franchise for many years to come. Many of the other pieces around them can be interchangeable as many successful franchises have shown.

If Woody doesn't address these 4 key areas (or at the very least 3 out of 4) then this team and franchise are destined for many crap years to come.

There have been way worse times to be a Jets fan, believe me. I'm loyal to the end. If the Jets team were to move, I would follow them where they went.

There have been seasons where the Jets have had a worst record. However the circus surrounding this entire organization from Ownership to GM to HC makes this current version of the team look like dysfunction personified. Not sure if any good candidates would actually want to even come here after how poorly this franchise's perception has taken a hit in the past 12 months.

If you can make it through the Kotite years and still be a fan, this is nothing.

I will always be a fan of the Jets but I also love good football and the 3 plus hours of watching some really unexciting, bad football week after week is hard to take. There's more to life then really inept football and there's more to football then the crap that we witnessed much of this year.

It's hard to justify 3 plus hours of my weekend watching a product that makes me want t gouge my eyeballs out of my head. On the positive side I started reading while the Jets were on O this year.

I'm Looking forward to the second and third round of the playoffs when we will see some very good teams facing each other under real pressure.

    Never.

I dislike Sanchez, I always dispised Tannenbaum, but they can always be replaced. The Jets? Never. The Jets forever.

So true. I remember going to my first game as a kid and thinking that those bathrooms were worse than the ones at the soup kitchen at which I was made to volunteer.

@OP: Jets fan for life, but I don't think it hurts to have an NFC team, too.

I've become more interested in the overall picture, such as what goes on in the front office, how a coach leads his team, how the owner gets involved, etc. The Jets are a nightmare in those terms. According to the press, they want to make Tannenbaum a "cap specialist" and bring in another GM. That's so absurd and if they do that, they are destined for more years of mediocrity at best.

I can see routing for another team, but not the Dolphins. Right now I'm routing for the 49ers. I like that team and I like Harbaugh. The Jets are a loser organization and it's very difficult to be associated with them.

i root for other teams all the time.

i like the ravens and 9ers right now but i dont spend countless hours on the gang purple or some gold digger site. and i dont think i could. just simply because there wouldnt be any coverage of the team or local fans. i just dont think i could be a fan of a non local team other than the jets if i moved.

I could never leave the Jets, as much as I hate them for all the heartbreaks they've caused me/us.

When the time comes for us to win a SB, I stand by it when I say it will be the most satisfying victory for a franchise in ANY sport.
