No bout a doubt it, my favorite Jet. Getting close to all-time territory, too.

Yeah, Shaun Ellis will also be a favorite from this era.

Sure explains a lot, doesn't it. I'm not glad to hear he went through this, but I am sure glad to hear that there was a good reason for his struggles this season. I thought he was done.....I should have known better.

J-Co, I'm sorry I doubted you man! Can't wait to see you back in form.

The original post implies that Cotchery is not signed for this coming season, but he is under contract for 2011, correct?

Damn right he did. Jumping over two pats on his way to gaining 20 more yards! :metal:

He was easily one of my all time favorite Jets. Dude never complained about anything, made TONS of clutch grabs over the years. He cemented the praise listening to him on WFAN every week, nothing but class.

He is the exact opposite of the prima donna receiver...

Once again Cotchery shows why he is above criticism for a poor performance. Now I really hope we bring back both Braylon and Holmes. Add a healthy Cotchery and a year of experience for Sanchez and everyone would be in for a big year.

I've been living with a mildly herniated disc for the last 5 years, and it is very painful at times. Props to Cotch, and speedy recovery.

Well, that explains the drops this year. It does re-iterate his toughness (which was on display w/ the catch he made in the Cleveland game).

Well that's two years in a row he's been battling injuries (had the hamstring last year, groin and back this year). I'm hoping it's just bad luck and not a sign that he's breaking down.

Hopefully that explains it. Cotchery's drops were painful to watch this past season. He was supposed to be the most sure-handed one on the team.

a WR who is actually tough, never complains, and always puts the team first.

We have an endangered species with us, and I'm glad he's a Jet..

I have been there with the herniated disc. Much props to Cotchery for playing through this. It was also crazy and risky to do so.

Shaun Ellis, J-Co, Curtis Martin - favorite Jets of all time

Get well soon J-Co, he'll def bounce back like no other next season ... amazing how many injures he dealt with this past season with the groin and the back ... tough SOB
