Who does Revis outside the game representation? He may just want to consolidate his representation as he moves towards a post-retirement life.

I'm guessing that he's playing for 2 more years and then going on to what's next. He gets $30M over the next two seasons and the Jets are likely to keep him next year unless his performance drops off a lot this year.

It matters what you do with your life, not where you attended college. Considering you feel the need to troll our forum, you clearly have something wrong or missing in your life. Either that or you're just being an asshole. ;)

You mean the 'Keith Olberman' Cornell.

I doubt he'll hold out this year or next. He'll take his $30m and re-evaluate. At $10m/year after that, he might be playing safety by that point. That'll still be a huge salary for a safety at that age, and we don't know how much he'll decline by that point. Also, he'll have plenty of media offers too. Whenever it's time for him to hang up the jersey, you can be sure that he'll make whatever media outlet pay him top dollar as an analyst.

I don't see Revis taking a media job after he's done.

    Doesn't seem like his nature.

To me, whenever I've heard him talk he sounds bored or perturbed that he has to do a call in interview, like he's got something more important to attend to and the interview us an annoyance.

He makes a ton of $$ for being a great football player. And he deserves it.

If any media outlet decides to give him money to be a media type, they'll be wasting that money.
