Hopefully he starts to get more playing time. We're gonna need it.

Couldn't agree more. What has Greene done to deserve starting? We saw today how much better Powell is but we will see Greene start for the rest of the season.

Jones is playing great but had he been drafted by the Jets he would only be getting a few snaps like Coples has.

After putting up for six years of Schotty, listened to Rex said that all the teams that passed him up for a HC job were going to be sorry only to not even care about the offense and lose the team and in essence continue to be just a DC I am almost at the point of giving up being a football fan as I cannot root for another team.

    Rex is an ass hole

Coples gets into the backfield every time he's on the field yet plays like 7 snaps today

Coples always looks good when he plays, why he doesn't play more is baffling

Only time I heard his name was that play where it was 3rd and long from inside Miamis 10 and Coples got the pressure, and then drew the personal foul penalty after the play.

Personally I think the biggest reason Coples hasnt played is because our rush defense sucks major cock, so we are consistently putting bigger guys on the field (even though Coples isnt terrible vs the run).

Plus we are constitently using a LOT more 3-4 than any of us ever expected.

I think the transition to the 4-3 is still happening, just not as fast as many of us expected.

I still think Coples is going to be a cornerstone of this defense, the fact that hes not on the field as much as i expected boggles my mind, especially with how putrid our defense looks.

Apparently he had 2 Tackles and a QB hit today.

The odds are pretty good that Rex is just making him earn the field by putting out 100% all the time.

Mike Devito's a pretty decent player too. He's not going to keep Coples on the bench for long but there's no reason to push him off the field if Rex thinks Coples could use a bit of extra motivation.

Watching the Pats game and seeing Chandler Jones put a few pressures on Flacco almost made me cringe. This team just cant get lucky with a good pass rusher since John Abraham.....

You guys should pay a bit more attention when he is on the field cause when he is he gets more pressure then anyone else and beats the man across him each and every time. Him and Wilkerson and the only 2 getting a good push of the line.

And you retards out there saying he's a bust, your fuckin idiots. Watch a game, pay attention, get yourself DVR, rewind, and watch it at half the speed so you can see how much of a beast he is in slow motion. A bust after 3 games. Dumbest shit I've ever heard. Is he suppose to get sacks sitting on the sideline?

Before you call someone that actually contributes when they're on the field
A bust, ask the coaching staff why he's not getting playing time. Oh that's right, it's cause they're playing less talented, veterans in his place. I'm sick of this team playing vets when more talented, younger, faster, stronger rookies are being benched. It's fucking sad.

Coples has been ill all week. It's searing hot in Miami. Probably not a good combination for a high snap count.

Marcus Dixon is still on the roster. He was re-signed a week after he was released.

He wants coples in to rush the passer yet they never get into a 2nd or 3rd and long -- thus they keep in a run base. Need to be better on first down.

Doubtful considering how much SF likes to run the ball.

it's easier to be a big fish in a small pond, than to take on the challenge of swimming with bigger fish in the ocean

i think they are sending maybin over the middle cause they are expecting the big men up front to occupy the blockers. problem is, devito is only taking on one guy and getting swallowed up by the guy at that. devito is going to see less and less time, i can guarantee you the cs isnt happy with him being taken out of plays by one blocker. and rex just said that we can expect to see coples more, so thats good. looking forward to see if coples can start to make an impact with increased playing time. wilkerson has been a beast this season, if coples can contribute in a closer to full time role, we dont have to worry about the defense even with revis out. qc has been consistently beating his man, fighting double teams, and making plays while hes out there.
