I was half expecting to see them lie on the ground for a lot of ET to get to PKs that's what they did in regulation! If you tuned in to see Sanchez laying on the pitch, you got your money's worth! If you tuned in to see a soccer match, not so much.
http://www.latimes.com/sports/soccer/la-sp-lionel-messi-retire-argentina-20160626-snap-story.html “The national team is over for me,” he told the Argentine network TyC Sports after Chile beat Argentina for the Copa America title Sunday night. “It's been four finals, it's not meant for me. I tried. It was the thing I wanted the most, but I couldn't get it, so I think it's over.”
Crap. This is the biggest early retirement since Johan Cruyff. That means the only time to see him is playing for Barca. I hope he moves on to the EPL. I'm sick of La Liga winning every f-cking thing.
That ref is always like that...he's the fukin Joey Crawford of futbol. I'm glad Messi missed that shit...I was rooting for Chile and figured this would be a blood bath...the fukin flopping tho ..oh my lawd!! Please stop!
I'ma need to watch for this. It's things like this that make me absolutely love soccer. Everything about it. Except that whole running around kicking a ball thing.
The ridiculous flopping aside, some clutch saves by both goalies down the stretch.. soccer flopping rules; the worse, the better : )
