The correct answer is yes: the season will be over for the Broncos with a loss tomorrow.

the season is almost over already. we either need to win out. or have room for 1 more loss and will need a ton of teams to shit the bed down the stretch.

Perhaps he is, but he is not even a Jets fan, just trying to stir things up even more.

11 wins will get the Jets in the playoffs unless something really strange happens, like the Broncos getting left out at 11-5 in Elway's third season.

10 wins is probably a 90% lock at this point to miss the playoffs for the Jets. Why? 4 conference losses already. If the Bengals and Ravens were to tie at 10-6 we might have a shot if the Bengals knocked the Ravens out in the tiebreaker. If one of them goes 11-5 and the other 10-6 we're screwed.

The picture of what each team needs to do is coming into Focus, Jets can't afford to lose this game, where as the Broncos can, given their division foes...

Interesting question and I think it really opens the door for more questions that should be fully discussed here.

Don't we have to play 6 more games on the schedule after this one? If we declare the season over and forfeit those games, do season ticket holders get a refund for the games we don't play? What would our draft position be - I'm assuming that since we forfeited, they would be considered losses, which would make us 5-11 and that could allow us to trade up for Luck? Do the players still get paid for those unplayed games and if not, would that free up money under the salary cap - I would guess that this is covered in the CBA but I'm no expert? How would that affect us in the Power Rankings? Would Sanchez be credited with a 0.0 QBR and could that be averaged into the entire season and then used as justification to show how bad he sucks?

I am confident about a win tomorrow. I would really like to see an old fashioned beat down like Detroit put on the Broncos. I also wish all the football "experts" would stop bashing Revis for the comments he made about falling asleep back in the secondary. He was just stating the obvious-8 passes versus 55 rushing attempts last game. We have to beat this "gimmick" team. Without a win, a dominant win, I think we all know that the season is not officially over but realistically my outlook would be far more skepticle. That's a fact.

No it isn't Not even close..

Curtis Martin had a fumble in that game. You know how often Curtis fumbled? It's about how often you had a rational thought TWATBAG.

If you think this ws worse than the '98 title game I don't know what to tell you, if we win the '98 title game we are going to win the SB. That loss was a million times worse than this loss.
