The jets offensive line is rebuilding perfectly. Unless Ferguson is like Mike Williams..

I want both guys with deals longer then 4 years. I have no doubt that once they mature they will both be high end Olineman.

And there is no chance Ferguson ends up like Mike Williams.

Mangold may get a 4 or 5 yr deal, but there is no way Ferguson is not going to be locked up long term. You do not take someone #4 and give him a 4 yr deal.

i highly agree, although I'm completely hyped about having Brick, i was one of those people who preferred a skill position player above him and had serious questions on his run blocking and vulnerability to inside moves.

he looks like the next great, but you never know, and someone as cap wise as Tanny should know he has to put up good money to sign a top 5, let alone committing to any top 5 pick over 2 or 3 yrs could be cap suicide if the player doesnt meet expectations.

for all we know we could be complaining about ferguson the way some fans do about d-rob. (while most support their argument by saying we gave two 1st rders to move up, it comes down to is he playing like a top 5?)

I could be wrong (which wouldn't be the first time). But I think I remember reading how in the new CBA, you can only sign 1st rounders up to 4 years on their initial contract.
