Idzik is making alot of decisions way to fast, Does he plan on keeping anyone or just bringing in people off the street like Mark Walberg in the movie Unbreakable
No we are the only team in the league that needs to replace 10 starters, not to mention add depth. Idzik is looking like a real newbie GM right now. And where is Rex does he have any say it all this. We have zero Safteys signed to the roster and were gonna lose Revis next to the trade. God were so fucked
Holy fucking shit, it's been 26 hours. Give it a rest with the darksider nonsense. He's not doing things 'way too fast'. He's rebuilding. It's not a sexy phrase, you actually have to take your medicine too. If he doesn't sign anyone by the end of the month, THEN be concerned. But until then, you're just worrying about nothing.
Players bolting and Cleaning house is two different things. When Holmes and Sanchez get cut, then it's official that Idzik cleaning house.
I've had no problem with Idzik stripping the old, slow, overpaid dead weight on this team and treating 2013 as a rebuilding year. And better that instead of trying to put some 7-9 or 8-8 paper tiger on the field. Accept 2013 for what it is--take your medicine and look forward to 2014 and beyond. That said, I'm surprised that the so-so FB Hillard was signed even if it's just a 1 year contract with 6th & 7th round West Coast offense FB pass-catching talent available in Zack Line and Kyle Juszczyk.
Drama queens need something to chirp about. Oh nos! Bell is gone. No soup for you! Fuck sake this site is full of thoughtless Nancy's. Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF700T using Tapatalk HD
so far we lost: greene.who everyone hated keller. who half the board hated devito. who was given starter money and his replacement is on the roster bell. a 36 year old safety so far i don't see the problem. idzick isn't over paying for depth and has identified that most of these guys are replacable. there will be no big contracts this year and idz is letting the crazy money flow out before he gets in the fray.i know this is different than what we are used to but it will be for the good of the team in the long run.
I have no problem with letting all these old mediocre players walk. This team is rebuilding for the future and letting the young guys show what they got.
Winners of days 1 and 2 of free agency never win the Superbowl. Timely signings and good draft picks build teams (having a great quarterback obviously helps).
Um yea I am pretty sure the NFL is a different league than it used to be back in 1994. However, how many players did the 49ers or Ravens sign to huge money deals before making the Superbowl last year. Giants/Pats year before? Steelers/Packers? I can keep going but I think you all get the point.
Its only 2 days into FA, give them time. Don't be a moron like Craig Carton who has become more of an embarrassment the Mike Green on ESPN. We are bottom fishing, this guy is not over paying for anyone and is looking for up and comers, not over the hill guys. I say we grade them when we get to training camp. Hell, Keller and Landry are next, be patient and don't let the Cartons and Cimini's get you down. Its not easy but rise above it, show your NFL intelligence.
Wrong....take a look at whaT San Diego is doing. We are cleaning house, bite the bullet this year and next and built from the draft. It's about f%^* time. There is not one player except for may be Keller that is worth worrying about. And please dont say Revis, having a super start corner who want more money than a stud QB in a rebuilding team full of holes is simply wrong.
