I agree it would be a good problem to choose between. At this point I'm just hoping one of Jordan, Jones, or Ansah makes it to us at 9.

One of the three will be there. We can only hope that the Jills go for Geno Smith at 8.

Pass coverage matters, when you play the NE small ball twice a season.

You want to make Brady shit the bed, put jordan at LOLB, and Tyrann Mathieu on the slot.

Mo wilkerson and Coples will be ass raping him all day long

I agree. All the hype is based on his measurables and potential.

Moore IA a guy that was top 3 on most mocks after actually producing. Combine knocked him down so much that its almost sad. Some team will get a hell of a player.

Come draft day, I hope that Jarvis Jones is there. He's still my favorite player for us to draft at #9. If he's not there I'd take Moore over Jordan.

I am not as high on Jordan as everyone else is. I dont see enough on film and i think everyone is getting carried away with his combine and the fact that he can cover TEs doesn't do it for me--

I want Jones or Ansah--- I think they are going to be freaks at the next level.. Jones is ready to go now and produce and Ansah has a little more time to get his feet under him but might have a higher ceiling than Jones

I think we might be the only ones on this forum, but I 100% agree.

National football post had him out of the first pre combine. Basicly saying that every scout he had talked to said they did not see him as a first round prospect or an impact player at the next level.

Part of the reason mocks change so drastically this time of year is writers getting more info leaked from scouts at the combine and pro days not just the results themselves. Add to that the increased medical info and some players shift around greatly.

Of jones, Jordan, and Ansah, Ziggey has the highest feeling of all of them, but also the lowest floor. Jones has has the highest floor and will be an impact player off the edge sooner than the other two. Jordan brings the most versatile skill set, but is physically the least like to have a high impact as a 3 down player any time soon.

I still think Jordan's best fit should be as a will in a 43 defense, where his ability in space could be put to the best use. He's not going to handle setting the edge against NFL lineman right now.

Or you put jones outside of Wilk and give them headaches trying to decide who to double. We want a OLB to become our DWare or Harrison Or Aldon smith, not a guy you send running down the seam to cover a TE. Jordan has then potential to get there, as do Ansah and Jones, but if I had to bet on on of them, it would be Jones as he is the only one to have proven he is a complete monster over his career, where The other two flash greatness in with complete crap because of how raw they are.

Jones lined up next to Wilk would def present problems to offenses.

What do you think about Jones ability to set the edge and get off blocks against the run?
He's not the biggest guy but he has speed and range. I wonder if getting off blocks from tackles, pulling guards or fullbacks could be a problem.

He's a bit undersized, but plays with enough power to make up for it. He is able to get inside of tackles and make them react as opposed to getting locked up by the blocker. A double team will wash him completely out, but if your doubling the edge Wilk will eat you alive.

Still though, many people had him at the top of the draft based on on-field performance

I agree, his numbers look great, I think he is a high motor guy, but maybe not the most dynamic athlete at the position. In the top of the draft people want greatness, not very good players. That's why guys with lower production will go first.

Moore may not have a dynamic first step, great hands, or an aggressive bull rush, but he never quits on a play. The more I watch him, the more he reminds me of Bryan Thomas.

Reminds me of Burfinct, he did terrible at the combines and was not drafted, now he is the leading tackler for the bengals and is a force to be reckon with at the LB position.

I think Moore will fall to the Jets because of the hype that Jordan is getting, I can't wait for the draft.

Yeah I have very little doubt thar he will fall to us. I'm sure that as ling as Rex gets to work them out, the Jets will make a good choice.

I can't wait for the draft eather. Moore and Jones are in my radar.

Moore and Burfict are completely different situations.

Burfict had a bad senior year, fought with coaches including pubicly calling them out, and then showed up out of shape at the combine. He is dumber than a brick and acted like the Combine did not matter at all. He is still a guy with a ton of maturity issues.

Moore is seen as a hard worker and moved to what ever position the coaching staff asked of him. By all accounts I've found he is a good teammate and person. The issue is with athletic ability not his off feild behavior.

Burfinct has actually grown up a lot since being drafted, read some articles on him and you will see. I guess my point was about the combines and how the emphasis by the scouts can affect the drafting of skilled players.

Moore could not have put up so much productivity on hard work alone, he has outplayed Jordan against tougher competition but because he had a mediocre combine Jordan has moved up on the draft boards.

I just hope the Jets come out with the best player available.

Dion Jordan is THE most complete OLB in the draft, you take him at #9.

Jones seems to be an ideal fit in a 4-3 however, I could see Dallas wanting to move up to take him or Shariff Floyd for their new Tampa 2 Defense
