Connor Hughes: Jets Officially Agree to Bring Cro Back

I think the Jets are offering 1-2 years, but Cro wants 3-4 years.

 

A couple of days ago he would take it but after seeing what Revis got he thinks he can get some, too. Plus Revis and his uncle are probably telling him he can play Woody for a chump (like they did).

I would find it extremely hard to believe Cro is waiting this long to NOT sign with the Jets. He wanted to make his decision more than 24 hours ago. If he was going back to the Cards or to the Cowboys, he would have signed as soon as negotiations with the Jets ended early this morning.

Both Cromartie and Gilchrist talks seem to have slowed down. Gilchrist was in town for 2 days and still no announced deal and I thought Cro was supposed to have been a done deal two days ago. If nothing happens today I am guessing it's time to move on. I wonder if Jets are going to Mariotta's pro day today..may not be anybody here anyway.

 

Am i the only one who doesn't care if cro comes here? We have revis and busta rhymes to go along with some intriguing young talent on the bench. I think we can survive with out him and use that money elsewhere

 

Apparently yes..the coaches must think we have nobody to play outside opposite Revis which is why they are still looking.

 

I'm perfectly fine with it, especially if it's going to cost $5-6 mil like some think. We need to lock up Gilchrist thiugh if that's the case. Or maybe tell both to take a hike and bring in Rahim Moore or Chris Culliver.
