A much better version of a zero isn't saying much.

Except I made my feelings known BEFORE the fact.

he was strictly a pass rusher in '00 and was great at it. I had some hopes we could see Gholston used in a similar way though I didn't expect half the impact.

I say give Clemens a shot or draft a QB. I'm not sold on Cassel.

I was always an Abe fan, even when they sent him away. Same with Coles, even now. That said, I prefer Mangold.

He had a sprained MCL which would have robbed him of the speed that made him great. He would have been a liability out there for us. The Jets PR department messed up that one by not revealing the true extent of his injury. Remember we all sat there wondering how bad it was, and didn't find out till much later the kind of sprain he had. Our favorite team is a poorly run organization, lets face it. Don't get me started about PSLS.

I remember the team doctor clearing him to play for that game. Maybe thatt was a move out of desperation - but most of the time doctors wont clear a player unless its safe.

Dr. Elliot Pellman is our team doctor. He's also a piece of shit. You decide.

When is the next thread involving ex-Jets who haven't been here in years going to hit the wire?

Good for him....I remember when we were all calling him a pussy back in 2004 for missing that playoff game with a bad knee.

Well, I don't know if we would have won that day had he played but damn I wish he was still a Jet right now. Mind you, if he was, Mangini probably would have made him a LB by now.

I definitely miss his pass rush ability but the injury thing was a concern. He's missed time in Atlanta so it's not like he's been able to shake it there either.

Why in the world would you say that? He played very well for the Jets and I'd much rather have Mawae and Abraham then Mangold and no pass rush at this point.

I wish we never had made that trade. We could've moved up for Mangold with the pick that got us Clemens instead.

Abe had a great season buuut..... Atlanta gave up a #1(who is now the best center in the league). He has a huge contract and missed a ton of games the first 2 years. He only is used as a 2 down player now in order to prevent injury. Basically is a pass rush specialist now.Not even the player he was when he was with us.

For some of us it's not hindsight. You can look it up.

I just don't understand why we have to keep rehashing players who are long gone. Abraham is a falcon, has been for years now.
