No way should you leave here because of the fucktard Pats and their fans.
Personally I'm tuning out for the super bowl and all the hype.
Between rule changes, the refs, and pats exploiting both of those things, football has become really hard to watch.
If anything just take a respite from all the BS and inevitable pats nantz like blowing which these next two weeks will bring.

  2. I come here to the NFL forum to vent & get away from patriot homerland.

If i were to start a “vent about the patriots” thread in the main forum it’d be moved to the NFL forum within a day.You see the dilemna?

And its not all patriot fans.Yehoodi while bias & often misguided is reasonable & doesnt just show up when it suits inflicting misery.

CJL,Prayer boy, & acouple others pull this shit year after year. We know why theyre here..yet continue to turn a blind eye.

When respected jet posters are getting suspensions for letting off some steam albeit in a vile manner..yet we’re removing “cheaters” from a thread IN THE MAIN FORUM to appease a bully & coming to the defense of chronic trash talkers w seemingly perfect timing..is this even really a Jets forum any more?

Win it for Myra! Ooops! I meant Ricki Noel Lander.

I wish the original was still out there, but it's been wiped from the internet. Sigh. "Take that, you pussy!"

Went to UVM a while back. Typically go to southern VT (Killington, Mt. Snow) for weekends, but when I can make a long weekend out of it, I go back to the old stomping grounds. Stowe, Sugarbush and Jay Peak my absolute favorites!

Unfortunately after the regular season and until the SB is over it's a football forum. That's a cross Jet fans have to bear. Patriot fans for the most part live in NE. Having lived in NE that's a cross they have to bear.
It's a game we're fans. Have some perspective. Spring comes earlier and winter later. We don't need as long a season as Pats fans. There's a reason Tom Brady lives in New York. He doesn't have to live in NE. They do.

I forgot they lost on that miracle throw up last year as well. Damn. I do feel bad for them. I'd feel worse if they hadn't have won that superbowl a few years ago though. Imagine if they were like our Jets and hadn't been to the superbowl in 50 years and got screwed like that, It would be pure chaos

They can celebrate it with their other bandwagon patriot friends. I understand Kurt's point completely. I would never go on a Patriots website and passive aggressively celebrate a Jets championship. Fuck no, I'd be on here hugging it out with you guys

Thanks to NFL rule changes and the way these games are officiated there are no more elite defensive powerhouse teams to truly challenge Tom Brady.

It's offense vs offense now and if the other team's QB blinks like Mahomes did for the entire first half yesterday NE wins.

You are correct that it is a thread for the game with the Pats. Therefore, fans who are respectful (as CJLang and Patriots usually are) are certainly welcome. However, IMHO putting a Patriot prayer on that thread in a Jets forum as well as a comment on Brady's respect for Mahomes, which had nothing to do with the game showed a little "poor judgement". Of course, this happens occasionally even by the best posters - myself included.

I won't go quite as far as Kurt that banning was in order. However, I do understand the sentiment. if you ask yourselves what would happen to a Jet fan if they were to post in a Pats forum in similar manner, IMHO both posts would have been ridiculed. The post weren't ban worthy (especially with the history of the posters) just over the top - again IMHO.

That being said, Kurt you cannot leave. Seriously. You are too good of a poster and know the game too well. You have a large volume of posts (which is important) and 99% of the time without hyperbole. You must continue. You are stuck here like the rest of us :).

    I don't know about that.

There's a good chance he never again has a season as good as he just had.

He holds on to the ball a loooong time. When that o-line, supporting cast begin to break apart ...

I’m not saying I agree with them, just that we are being a bit overly sensitive about it. Personally, I’m desensitized to the Pats success. After 18 years it’s just the norm at this point so their fans don’t mean much to me.

  16. Im not calling for any bans or the like.

But i have a hard time wrapping my head around Jet fans being punished for spewing a few sentences w nasty vibes in the heat of the moment while Passive aggressive patriot bullies are basically welcome w open arms & validated for obvious disrespect thats FAR from a first time thing.

And before anyone says im overreacting..did we or did we not change a thread title to appease a single Patriot homer who is a repeat offender of the behavior alluded to above?

Im all for impartial football discussion but theres a fine line to being gracious hosts & appearing bias toward the enemy.

If trash talking is fair game..so be it..We’ll take the gloves off..but im seeing somewishy washy inconsistencies that frankly are more favorable to opposing fans than the fans of the actual team this board is for.

Admin can run this site anyway they like. Its not an easy job.im greatful to have bern able to post here for so long..after 15 years of this patriot crap maybe its just time i find somewhere alittle more jets homeriffic & anti opposing fan

Not gonna lie, I kind of feel bad for Reid. Guy is a great regular season HC, but for one reason or another, his teams always fall short in the playoffs.

Agreed. He needs to get himself a Defensive Coordinator. How about this? Marvin Lewis! Neither Coach can win in the playoffs alone, but what if they teamed up? I like the idea. Clearly Sutton must be fired though. Horrendous.

still think the ball hit Edelman's upper forearm, lower bicep.

They were looking at the fingers in the replay not the arm.
