I also used to buy a concert shirt at most of the shows I went to. A few survived the years. Of course, they don't fit me, but, my middle daughter saw them when I was going through what was buried in my attic and immediately claimed them. Every time she wears them she gets complimented by the older crowd, especially when she wears my Who/Clash shirt from the Rich Stadium show(she's a senior at the University of Buffalo). Here she is sporting my BOC shirt from the BOC/Foghat tour in 1981.

That's awesome! I used to buy the knockoffs from the guys in the parking lot. 5 washes later and you couldn't even read the print.

Hahaha. This is like a suburban rite of passage in the 80s.

Major ups for the BOC/Foghat tour. Was that at the Coliseum with special guest Robbie Krieger?

No, this was at the Glens Falls Civic Center. No Robbie. The opening band was a pretty good band called Visitor. I believe they were local to the Albany area.

Yeah, I had a few of those, Kinks, Van Halen. I think I still have the VH, I'll post a pix of it, it's bad.

Not a Bluegrass fan (most of it is painful to listen to) but if there was ever a guy.....
Billy Strings is playing 3 shows here this weekend (fri-sun). First 2 are sold out, may consider a last minute ticket on sunday if I'm not going offshore to fish

I work at a surf shop down the street from the amphitheater one day a week (saturday).... well I was upstairs helping customers with surfboards and apparently Les rode his bike to the shop to buy a pair of shorts. The "kid" working the register said "You look alot like Les Claypool".... "I get that alot"..... then he saw the name on his credit card..... :D he ran up the stairs with the ipad after the fact to show me. "Dude, I wish you said something.... I wouldve yelled "I caught a 100lb sturgeon on 20lb test" ha

we proceeded to put "PRIMUS SUCKS" on the readerboard outside the shop, which was a hit with alot of people, as we hustled some parking $ as I had some pre-game pops

My wife an I bought our daughter tickets for her first concert this summer (12 year old BD gift).

She loves Imagine Dragons, they are playing at Hershey Park.
Day at the park, with a friend then the concert.
Live music and 1st concert memories are truly forever.
I hope Imagine Dragons ages as well as my 1st concert (Joe Coker & Stevie Ray Vaughan 1990).
