You know, you can like a prospect without needing to trash other prospects. I swear all of the Burks ride or die guys need to relax on London. We get it you don't like him, and that's fine.
right? it's like the fields supporters last year trashing zach. it's ok to like 2 different guys and like 1 more. the overzealous supporters are usually the ones I tune out. they rarely are based in any actual evidence.
I’m not trying to trash London I just don’t see “IT” he’s also fragile and a bit of a head case sticking out his tongue at opponents and acting like a fool. I don’t see anything that made me say WOW with London. On a few nice jump ball plays he got hurt coming to the ground. He also played slow and for his size wasn’t a factor blocking. Too many red flags for me. Burks is as clean of a prospect as you can get to go along with his super star attributes on the field.
I love Burks, but have absolutely no issue if London is the pick at 10. Hell, I don't even care if Wilson is the pick -- I just a damn WR with one of the 2 first picks.
I loved Olave with Fields as his QB but this year he was overshadowed by Wilson. He is a technician with all that speed. Reminds me of Emmanuel Sanders
4.26 with that kinda crisp route running is legit. Wilson and Olave are gonna be this year's Smith and Waddle.
Could be. Olave should of came out last year and stayed in school. I remember watching the tape on fields and being more impressed with Olave. I think I even made a thread about it last year.
i'm not saying burks is a bad prospect but he's far form clean. IMO no WR this draft is a clean prospect. I think it's a class with a lot of good guys, but nobody great. the top WR this year would be at best 4th bets last year but realistically probably 5-6th bets last year
When I say clean I mean off the field. I think Burks would be just behind Chase and in front of Smith and Waddle personally.
Last year, WR from USC was drafted and he was amazing. The same year as Mims another USC WR was drafted and he was amazing. Guess what? The WR from USC this year is better than both. What other excuses people can fin to discredit a legit elite talent?
After his testing at this combine and his performance at the senior bowl, Watson is gonna rocket up boards. I really liked his tape, he can do it all. Although the level of competition wasn't great, some of my questions were answered at these two events.
