A part of me hopes the Colts go on to win the SB(with Manning continuing to play terribly, of course) just so we can hear the pundits sing the praises of Peyton for finally winning the big game. His lines the last 2 weeks look pretty similar to any of the embarassing Patriots losses over the years, the only difference is the play of the Colts D. Maybe it was their fault all along? :breakdance:
this has to be one of the most boring playoff games in a while...no excitement....at all....whatsoever...
So far Bob Sanders come back and they turn out to be one of the most dominant defenses in the league? weird
you seriously believe that rhodes should get the PB nod over Ed Reed? i would trade rhodes and a few draft picks for reed. the guys the best saftey in football. rhodes is good....but better than reed? you need to take off those green glasses dude.
Rhodes had a better season than Ed Reed. He deserved the Pro Bowl spot. And I am a Giants fan, so my glasses aren't green. My glasses look like this.
I'm amazed. Baltimore did not run enough, Jamal Lewis was having a very good day and he simply did not get the ball enough, he deserved 20 carries they way he was running. The Colts defense came up big again against a solid offense while Peyton had a bad game, yet they win. I'm trying to figure out what the hell happened to Samari Rolle. He got picked on a lot the entire year and am wondering why his play has been so soft? He still has good speed and cover skills yet the guy plays so far off as if he's Tim Wansley. Indy did enough, and Mike Vanderjagt has to be sick of seeing Vinatieri.
The best four in the league this year were Rhodes, Reed, Dawkins, and Wilson. Rhodes and Dawkins were probably the top two. By the way, this was the 4th playoff game without a touchdown. 1950 American Conference Championship, 12-17-50: Browns 8, Giants 3 (three field goals, safety) 1970 NFC Divisional Playoff, 12-26-70: Cowboys 5, Lions 0 (field goal, safety) 1979 NFC Championship, 1-6-80: Rams 9, Buccaneers 0 (three field goals) 2006 AFC Divisional Playoff, 1-13-07: Colts 15, Ravens 6 (seven field goals)
