I don't care about that PR crap. I'm all about wins and if Geno can't get it done with this talent he should go. But to judge him from the shit talent he played with isn't right.

That's funny. I don't think Colon can start, let alone Geno. I still remember his personal foul from the bench.

This is a dumb statement. Fitz was on the hotseat (along with the rest of the team) for the last 4-5 games of the season when we needed to win out or be done. That win streak shows he's not a choker per se

Smith has become the Jets' version of what Tavaris Jackson was to the Seahawks. Would be great to find a Wilson so that we don't have to see him start again.

I loved this - but 'Jets sign no one else' AND 'Jets sign another QB' sounds like the sort of thing Captain Kirk would say to make an evil computer malfunction in the last three minutes of Star Trek...

Geno Smith was ranked in the top 99.9% percentile.

    100%.

One of the biggest critiques of Fitz is that he "fades down the strecth" but if you look at what he did "down the stretch" he was one of the driving forces for us even being in position to sniff the playoffs. AFC Offensive Player of the Week twice and once he helped Marshall to become the AFC Offensive Player of the Week.

If you want to say "down the stretch" means the last game of the year-sure--pick on him all you want. In actuality it was the bad INT that everyone points to--one bad pass. Otherwise the dude played great "down the stretch". No denying he was not good that last game but the whole team was not good that game.

Let be real. Tom Brady wouldn't had got the Jets to playoffs with what Geno had to work with. He may had made the SB with the talent Fitz had to work with.

So you'd rather him pull a Geno and disappear for 15 games and show up in week 17 like he's done twice?

I want to see what Geno can do with the talent the Jets have on offense. I would give Geno 4 games and then take it from there.

I get it most Jet fans hate Geno and I can understand that. But to not at least give him a chance with the talent the Jets have is just dumb IMO. Everybody knows Fitz has a weak arm and will not beat anybody deep. So that one worry D don't have to worry about. People keep saying how good Chan is with QB's let's see what he can do with Geno. Plus it the same offense Geno was in college.

Anytime an article praises Geno U can expect the bots to come out in full force. I venture to guess that Geno 007 post more than 60-80% (of his post) in regards to Geno. He's persistent and I respect that. He's a true Jet fan in that his heart will be broken once more. Now let's either get Fitz signed or get us a bonafide starting qb. so all this BS can be put to rest. (Fitz is not worth more than 8mil) (G.Smith is getting paid very little and IMO isn't worth it)

I don't think Geno is great by any means, but to judge him based on years where he had no one to throw it to is silly. Decker as a #1 and Kerley as a #2 is a recipe for failure no matter who is getting snaps.

If we can't bring back Fitz for a reasonable deal then who else do we have? RG3? Kap? I rather see what Geno can do in Gailey's system then overpay for other QB's.
