This is what I was thinking. If this or prior articles are not accurate, then why isn't Coles calling out the media. If he's worried about looking bad, why doesn't he say he's being taken out of context? Better yet, why doesn't he tell the media he is no longer granting any interviews because they are being irresponsible in their reporting? I'd have no problem with that.
coles just need to get his head in the game and concentrate on winning, and that chad is the qb for miami and thats the way it worked out, so just move on

I don't blame Coles for feeling the way he does. I don't see any lies in any of his statements. I am pulling for Favre and I love to watch him sling the ball, but I honestly don't see the team winning more because of his acquisition. We were going to be 11-5 with Chad. Proposed trade: NYJ give: Coles, 2nd rounder WAS give: Landry if no 2nd rounder because of Favre trade, then NYJ give 1st rounder and WAS give 2nd and 5th. Lowery, Revis, Rhodes, Landry....
Yeah, that's what I kinda keyed in on too ... that and the "I run the plays the way we're supposed to, and Brett doesn't, and when I go and complain to coach about it he sides with Brett" bit too (my paraphrase, but ... in what he says it is implied that he's gone and complained to Mangini that Brett isn't running plays the way Coles is expecting him to. Which is probably true (it was true in GB anyway, Favre audibled and adjusted nearly every play). I haven't been worried about this at all up til now, but after reading this I'm now inching towards the faction that thinks Coles is still upset about the Jets grabbing Brett and dumping Chad, to the point that it may affect his play.
So do we trade him to Dolphins? I think he'll enjoy flirting with 0-16 down there at Miami a lot more.
