I'm all in favor of bringing Coles back. I said so earlier in the offseason as well. The only negative is if he plays the slot. I don't know how many hits he can take at this point. While Holmes is out though, we'll have Edwards, Cotchery, Coles, Keller as our receiving corps, with Greene and Tomlinson coming out of the backfield. It's pretty hard to think that those aren't some really nice weapons to put around our franchise QB. And then when Holmes joins the crew? Wow. The best part is, it leaves the Clown on the outside looking in. He seems like a really nice guy and a genuine person, but the guy is not a good football player.
I don't think Clowney is going anywhere. I think I saw him listed as our gunner on ST. Unless he shits the bed in TC or PreS, he'll make the team.
I think most people should just lurk on here for a good while, learn a little bit about football and extreme sarcasm, and then start posting. I'm guilty of this myself. I think most of us can look back on our first few posts on these boards and likely cringe. I've been called a dumbass on here a few times, and when I looked back, it was true. I don't take it personally. I know a fair amount about football, but by no means am I an expert. Hell, look at this thread. I thought it was retarded to sign Coles, and within a few days, the Jets sign him. Shows what I know. Its good to get knocked down a peg once in a while.
Okay, I know I know..near distant future. But we do have the deepest experienced WR core right now. That's gotta count for something. Tanny is covering every base here. Sanchez could slump...but he has the 'IT' factor and you never know. He might surprise you...But your right. I'll go take some Valium in the mean time...
Do we have WR prospects that we are getting rid of for Coles? I don't know the answer to that question. I don't think this move hurts unless he would be taking the aspot of a player that could turn into something good for us,
