I'd pin 75% on Mangini, the other 25% on Favre. I've defended both of them all year, but today was completely inexcusable. If we dont make the playoffs, this is an epic collapse.

Coles muffed that play, but Favre was an embarrassment all game long.

Favre under threw more balls then all of our drops combined, please Brett gets most of the blame, period.

He was out played by no name QB's all year long, and Chad would have been better.

As for the coaches I hope they are all gone next year!

It was a great pass- virtually perfect. he dropped it.

You cant have a miracle last drive comeback when your WR drops a perfectly thrown ball.

That's so funny 'cause I was just thinking about how bigtime QBs don't throw a 48 passer rating against the worst secondary in the league with a division title on the line.

I don't see why you guys have to make it either or. Favre was awful today. Terrible decisions, terrible throws. Throwing it to Coles there so deep downfield when they needed 5 yards to keep their season alive into double coverage was a horrible decision. It was also a beautiful pass that hit Coles right in his hands. There's absolutely no excuse for not coming down with that ball.

Coles' drops this year are because he's not getting much separation

IF we don't make the playoffs? Dude, it's over. Let the reality sink in. We used up our miracle last week.

I agree...Coles had some amazing catches in the game. Have you forgotten about those?? Should he have caught the ball? Maybe...The play seemed pretty well defended to me. He had two guys on him. WHY WERE WE THROWING IN THE END ZONE WHEN WE COULD HAVE HANDED IT OFF TO THOMAS JONES AND GOT THE 4 YARDS FOR FIRST???? He's been getting that ALL GAME. Brett Favre of ALL PEOPLE should have know that a game in the snow is all about field position and being safe with the ball. RUN THE DAMN THING!!!! We were doing well when staying with the run game. I pin this on Mangini and Favre...the play calling and execution were pathetic. Leave Coles alone.

Take a look at the first INT again. There was an open Jet in the middle of the field for a first down. Instead he throws it to a guy who was double covered. Doesn't matter if it's third down. An INT in that situation was crutial.

It's not all coaching. The Jets defense let up all of 10 points (not including the FG that the O provided the Seahawks). That means that the "D" did a good enough job. Were they great? No. However, the offense couldn't produce points and couldn't convert on third downs again (for the fourth straight week). I'm not going to blame it all on Favre, but he and the rest of the players have performed inadequately lately (as well as the coaches).
