Rex has made mistakes but he certainly isn't the problem that the Jets need to eliminate. oh how quick we forget how good he is at his best.

    Rex for the next decade.

"Players coaches" NEVER win in this league.

    Get rid of Rex

cliches are only for those without a legitimate position.

Guys, call me crazy, but I'm thinking of this guy who is AMAZING at defense. Not the best offensive mind, but you can't have it both ways. His name is Rex Ryan. He's the clear choice.

every coach is a specialist until they become a head coach. but becoming the head coach doesn't then make them an expert in the other side of the ball that they have never coached in, and it isn't required to be a good head coach.

detractors want to make it out as if this is somehow exclusive to Rex, and his lack of knowledge of offense is why the offense hasn't clicked.

fucking Brain Billick won a Super Bowl and was thought to be an offensive genius, and yet his offense's regularly were sub par. that's because it takes a different skill as a head coach than a coordinator.

the offense isn't failing because Rex Ryan doesn't know offense.

My position is Rex is not HC material, show him the door.

I don't see anyone out there who's a real viable alternative.

Everyone wants to blame our offensive problems on Rex. How come no one was blaming Mangini when our defense was average at best or how our offense was pretty bad? (Though to be honest, I think we were all in agreement in getting rid of him). Or no one was ripping on Herm Edwards when our defense was below average? Our offense sucked two out of three years of Parcells term.

Actually, Herm and Mangini got ripped pretty good when they were here. It's just that anyone who wants Rex to be fired has to forget about all that and just act like Rex is the worst coach ever.

I like the one where they say Rex "only won with Mangini's players" while ignoring the fact that Mangini didn't win with Mangini players.

Herm also neglected the awesome offensive line that he inherited.

I think Mangini was a bit more balanced about getting us talent on both sides of the ball (he did get us Favre).
