Cotchery is still the #2, no questions asked.

I understand why people wouldn't be on the Clowney bandwagon yet, but what is this shit about him having average to below average hands? He has not dropped a single pass EVER in a game situation. Where do people get this from? If you are going to hate on him, hate on his route running ability or something, but not his hands.

    No we don't.

Edwards is #1, Cotchery is #2, B. Smith is a trick play, tall red zone guy and excellent blocker, Clowney is a deep threat, Wright is a physical slot WR, Woodhead is a shifty slot WR.

I like our WR corp a lot. If Woodhead or Wright develop as good slot WR I think we are set for a long time... otherwise we might look at upgrading that part of our offense.

I think Allison was kept to battle it out with Clowney (in case he didn't turn out), but if the Clown keeps playing like he has goodbye Allison.

PS We might also keep 7 WR in the long run considering Smith and Wright value on ST and Woodhead versatility as a WR and RB.

Ok so what do we do with the emergence of "the Clown" where does he fit in where he benifits the team totally. He has to play. Where does Allison fit in?

Braylon is #1, Cotchery is #2. Who knows about the rest of the WR slots.

Watching him jump, cradle a ball into his body and not catching it with his hands. Watching preseason games. This guy does not have great hands. He's fast as hell, but thats about it.

the running game looked especially good when there were 3 WR's on the field

I think we'll be seeing a lot of clowney as a result

clowney needs to be fed the ball and he is going to have to show consisitency when given the ball.

physically he reminds me of mark duper of the dolphins back in the 80's - stout, quick, and hard to bring down.

thank you. ive been very annoyed by the doubters, and you summed it up perfectly. plus, he's developing his blocking, as rex said clowney's block in the bills game was one of the best blocks by a wr he's ever seen. and anyone else see his ability to get even more yards when it looks like hes wrapped up. oh yeah, and the stiff arm. the guys developing into the whole package.

to the guy who made a comment on him cradling it and not catching it with the hands. who cares how he catches it, as long as he catches it (and he has 0 drops)

Exactly why I can't freakin stand Schotty.

Same thing last year with Washington not getting any snaps.

I don't get the below average hands comment. I've yet to see him drop a pass.

His speed was obvious in the game, I think he earned himself a bigger role.

the 3 wr set we use is great for the run and pass attack

Clowney has always had the skills to be a good wideout. Now he's showing it during the season, Finally got his shot and so far so good.
Great speed which we all knew he had but his hands are impressing me especially with the deep ball. He's been our best deep threat in awhile.

I think that you have to sit and wait for this guy to actually drop a pass before you can say he has bad hands. His technique bringing the ball in may not be as orthodox as great receivers, but he gets it done with excellent concentration and athletic ability. He may not run the best routes, but he has a nice combo of speed and quickness to get the right amount of separation from a corner.

I can see some effective sets with Cotch ni the slot and Clowney and BE lined up wide, Clowney is a legitimate deep threat and I think they will be able to get the ball to Cotch a lot when he comes because, because safeties will have to respect Clowney. I like the way our O is going to look once Cotch is healthy. Too bad we won't have Leon in the mix. :(

i have yet to see him drop a pass in any game he has played for us. if his style works for him it works for him. just because it isn't normal doesn't mean it is bad.

Clowney has looked like more of an NFL receiver in his 3 starts than Brad Smith has in 3+ years as a starter. Granted, one of those games was against the Raiders, but BS has played against them too.
