Why does it matter who threw the ball? And it seems like there is more hate than love to me.

Well, it has turned into that with all his Twitter stuff and lack of production in camp this year. It was mostly love for awhile due to his preseason touchdowns.

Yeah now the love has been replaced by hate. Seriously I have never seen such an irrational emotional response for any one player in all my years as a sports fan.

First he is loved for having one great preseason game then he is hated because he sounds like a tool on twitter. All I know is the kid better start improving on the practice field or he will find himself searching for a new team to tweet for before he knows it.

I'd set his odds of making this team at no better then 50/50 right now.

I think that the hate is not only because of his antics on twitter but because it seems as if he's not really producing during practice or even at the OTA's. Guys like Stuckey are busting their balls during the offseason, Clowney is in Madrid or at the club....holla!

Awfully judgemental from the lot don't you think.

You can't play football 24 hours a day. You have to have some sort of outlet.

He is a young guy who goes out and tweets. Just like a million others his age. I'll stick to judging his performance on the field and could care less what he does off it as long as it's not illegal or reckless.

Haven't you heard? Pro football players are not allowed to have social lives.

If Goddell could have it this way, he'd be a happy man.

You got that right. Isn't there anything in the playbook that needs reviewing? You're in the NFL man, eat it, breathe it and live it 24/7. Who TF needs to know what the weather is like? That's what they make weatherchannel.com for.

You guys are being rediculous. I don't give a fuck what he Twitters about, if he can make the Defense respect the deep ball. Sure, he probably Twitters about things that you guys don't care to read; so then don't read it! He didn't make his Twitter account for you. Plus, it's not like the guy is doing blow, or "making it rain" ala Pacman Jones. So ease up, and watch what you say now; because I'm going to call out every single one of you who are singing a different tune 5 games into the season when Clowney's a legitimate deep threat. Just saying...

    You're assuming:

    a) That he will make the team

    b) That he will learn how to catch the ball

:drunk: I hope you are right. Hey, he puts himself out there, this is a message board, and these things get discussed. I was just amazed to see him posting during practice, it didnt' seem right, and turns out he had a family issue and was not at practice. No big deal. He just makes himself look silly with the posts. BTW, twitter is open to the public and he wants people to join.

And if you don't like what is being posted here, don't read it.:drunk:

You think it's easy to catch a ball and twitter at the same time? This man has immense talent and you just don't realize that!

How many NFL WRs can twitter and catch at the same time, huh?.... go ahead... just name ONE! AHA! You can't!

Um, I wouldn't be so sure of that. His tweets about not sleeping for 2 days because he's been partying seem to indicate otherwise.
