After today, pecking order at LT looks like this (Scheriff is a guard until he proves otherwise, damn good one though): 1. Collins 2. Fisher 3. Clemmings Peat and Flowers may have moved themselves out of first round consideration after today.
Those are the players I have in the top 3 also. I need to watch Fisher play more to see if I would rate him 2nd or 3rd, but Collins solidified that he is the top OT prospect in this draft IMO. Flowers absolutely killed his draft stock today because of how extremely slow he moved during the position drills.
I still like TJ Clemmings over Fisher because he has more upside but he will be a project. Fisher is easily more NFL ready.
I'm now leaning towards White over Cooper for our #6 pick. He has great film and is now blowing up the combine. Sign me up. Overall I would go Mariota, White, Fowler, Cooper in order of preference.
Choosing between Cooper and White is like choosing whether to put Reeces Pieces or M&Ms on your hot fudge Sunday. There really is no wrong answer.
LOL I disagree. I don't like either. Just give me the hot fudge sundae with walnuts and a cherry on top.
I was very interested in Watching Flowers after so many on here were mocking him in the 1st Rd. Just basing it off the drills I watched I wouldn't draft that dude in the 8th rd. He was the worst OL doing drills yesterday.
ROFLMAO!!! I sure hope not! I'm hoping that a combination of Mettenberger and the Titans' CS thinking that Mariota won't fit their system will lead them in a different direction. I'm actually more worried about Cleveland.
The Browns always mess up at the draft so I'm not too worried.. They have too many holes to fill to try and move up. They need their picks. As for the Titans I also feel they will pass on Mariota to either beef up their DL with Williams or get Mett some help with either White or Cooper. I can't see the Jags passing on Gregory.. He fits their scheme and system perfectly. The raiders will get Carr a legit #1 WR with either White or Cooper. The Skins IMO are the wild card! They are the team that if another team is absolutely in love with MM will look to deal with... If they stand pat I'm actually pretty confused who they would take.. They need OL help and help in their secondary so is really limits them with that top 5 pick.. The Rams are the team that I could see try to move up for Mariota and it still gives the skins a top 10 pick to address their needs with and an extra pick. Winning that game in Miami is looking worse and worse each day...
Provided that Mariota & Winston are gone & we can't trade back. Doesn't mean that I'm convinced we should draft Mariota or Winston if available. But those 3 above seem to be the easy answer (as of now).
There are enough Winston and Mariota threads. For this thread, please assume that Winston, Mariota, and Williams are the top 3 picks in no particular order.
