Watch them in pads on Saturdays then just try to tell me that White is the same speed as Brad Smith.

Your a horrible judge of speed. First you think Cushing is slow and now you think Brad Smith is slow. Next your going to tell me Mangini is skinny.

Being the best QB at this combine doesn't mean much, its a weak year for QBs. If you think Josh Freeman will cut down on his INTs then there is one top ten QB in the draft, otherwise there aren't any. I don't think Detroit will take Stafford the way they are expected to. They are going to have the number one pick next year as well and the QBs next year will be better. If they win 3 games give Schwartz coach of the year.

Tony, you still love these running QB's, don't you? Didn't your love affair with Vince Young teach you anything? Heck, VY threw more in college than White did. These runng back QB's rarely ever work out. Tavaris Jackson, Vick, sure they are exciting to watch, but they don't win football games. At least the guys I mentioned have the height to play QB... White does not. Tebow won't be a good NFL QB either, a warning shot before someone plays the race card...

I've been saying all along Sanchez will be a bust.

Stafford did the right thing. His arm is there for all to see on tape. Matt Ryan did the same thing last year. The combine is dangerous for QB's. Their arms get cold while they wait around to make their next throw. The last thing you want to do is not throw for 10 minutes and try to loft a sixty yarder.

The combine is at fault. They should let the QB's make their throws in succession so they don't cool down between throws.

It's okay, he won't acknowledge that at this point. He just wanted to tell someone they were wrong, regardless of what was actually said.

His accuracy improved last year. Four years of starting really helped him. I think he can be a #2 QB.
Whoever drafts White should do so as a QB/WO. The team should tell him that he will have a chance to compete for a backup QB spot, but if he wants to see the field as a rookie it will be as a special teamer/wideout/single wing tailback.

love Pat White. He's got a huge arm, and is unbelievably versatile as you mentioned. I would love to take a shot at this kid somewhere in the draft. It's hard to say where he will go, but I've heard anywhere from the 2nd to 3rd round, in which it may not be worth it. He ran faster then most of the running backs in the combine, and your right, he had a cannon. But most of all, IMO...he's better than Ainge and poses a lot more threat in a lot of different ways. Where do you think he will go in the draft though?

Agreed. However, the lion's and a bunch of different people at the Combine have suggested they will either address the Tackle spot, or Curry with the number one pick...and then select a quarterback like Freeman with there 2nd spot. I don't think they will wait a year to draft a quarterback. If Lion's don't draft a QB with the first pick, Stafford falls to maybe number 3, which means Sanchez or Freeman will potentially fall to number 20. I agree that they wont take Stafford though with the first pick though.

I understand what he did at the combine, yet 4 years of tape indicates that has sub-par accuracy to say the least. With the new Wildcat trend, he may project as a guy who can take 10 snaps a gm, do some handing off, some running along with the threat of a pass. This is important to an extent, but it really does limit his value to fewer teams. The question is if he can all of the Wildcat things plus develop into a slot WR and punt returner. If he can, then I really think he is a 1st round talent. Think about it

    10 snaps at WCQB
    10 snaps at WR
    4 Punt Returns

Also, part of his value is that there is no need to carry a 3rd QB

We don't need any QB that won't be a franchise QB. We already have 3 of those.

I dont understand why teams don't use 2 QBs like teams use 2 RB's. I wouldnt be surprised if Miami drafts Pat White for the Wildcat.
