JESSE CHATMAN SUSPENDED FOUR GAMES Posted by Michael David Smith on August 30, 2008, 6:13 p.m. EDT There’s news today regarding Jets running back Jesse Chatman, but it’s not the news that was previously reported. This morning we passed along a report that Chatman had been released, and then we were contacted by Chatman’s agent, who told us that Chatman hadn’t been — and wouldn’t be — cut. Now we’ve got the real situation, per a release from the Jets and the NFL: Chatman has been suspended without pay for the team’s first four regular-season games for violating the NFL Policy on Steroids and Related Substances. Chatman’s suspension begins today, and he is eligible to return to the Jets’ active roster on Monday, September 29 following the team’s September 28 game against the Arizona Cardinals. Chatman is in his first season with the Jets. Last year he started six games for the Dolphins. Chatman lost 60 pounds in 2006 and attributed his improved diet and conditioning to the rejuvenation of his NFL career. pft.com
Here is the source for that. http://www.newyorkjets.com/blog/posts/665-chatham-poteat-pociask-among-final-cuts seems to me though that we needed to cut 22 and there are only 19 on that list. (but I counted fast)
Whoever hoped or thought Clemens was traded is an idoit and knows nothing about Football!!! Ban me if you want, it needs to be said. Go root for the Dolphins morons
I was searching google news and found this. "Jets decide to keep Ainge Keeping Ainge gives the Jets four quarterbacks on the roster".. makes ya think...
I still wouldn't rule it out. If we got an offer for a good RB, I could see it going through. And I'm a Clemens fan.
LMAO. No. And Bender looked bad this summer. Do not want. The canes played a weak, weak team. But winning 52-7 is still nice.
