I just don't see how you can judge him on 4 quarters of play with backups. And its not 3 years because last year was the first time we saw him play. Year # 1 was a wash. That's 10 regular season games and parts of 3 games with backups and he's done. OMG, that's just wrong
In case you haven't figured it out yet, it is only about this year. Next year they will worry about when they get there. If they need a qb then they will get one then.

If its about this year, how can you trade your only experienced QB? ITs a contradiction. This has to be the Chad brigade who's still pissed about cutting noodle arm. If they need a QB, they will get one!!!!!!!!!!!! How old are you?
Then next year is the last year. Either he proves himself here or somewhere else to find his next contract. This year and next. He has a good chance on either team. I'd like to get a pick for him, the pick has more upside :grin:

It isn't like we are trading the starter. We would theoretically be trading an underachieving unproven unreliable backup.
Our only really experienced QB is Favre and they aren't trading hiw. With 263 straight games they are probably banking on him not getting hurt often or for a long period either. How many years did he play in GB when they never had a single backup QB that had ever thrown a pass in the NFL? Oh, and I am probably just as old and decrepid as you are.
agreed...I'd prefer a pick also...perhaps Tanny could rape the Vikes, Bears or Chiefs for a 3rd rounder. It sounds greedy....but if Tanny could sell "moving to the big city" to a country boy...he could pull this off. :smile:
If Tanny gets a 3rd or 4th for this kid, the FBI should investigate grand larceny against fellow NFL teams.
