i dunno 5 ints in one game doesnt sound like they were very confident in the gameplan, they felt like sanchez could do it, if they have less confidence in clemens then they will finally trust fully in the strategy that works, which only works when you stick with it. the last few games they have layed off sancez and weve done better, but this could further it.
Prior to the season, I was hoping to see Clemens as the starter so that Sanchez could have time to grow before being named the starter. I was wrong. Completely, stupidly, dead wrong.
With Clemens in there, it's going to be essentially the same as if Sanchez was in there. We will run the ball and as long as we play good defense, don't turn the ball over, and minimize the "You have got to be kidding me" plays we will win the game
thats kinda what i was goin with, most of those youve got to be kidding me plays were from sanchez, and the play calls put him in that position, i think they trust clemens less than sanchez, therefore less opportunites for me to throw my remote through the tv screaming and yelling.
First of all I think the D will win this game for the Jets. Second I think TJ goes for 100+. But third I think Clemens will play well and that they will let him open it up and throw the ball downfield. Overall he played poorly last week but I think he will prove some of the critics wrong on Sunday and show that he is capable of being a good NFL QB. We shall see.
if they open up the offense and let Clemens throw the ball around....Talib, T.Jackson and Barber will eat him for breakfast. It will be a total disaster. I don't care if we run the ball 60x, play solid Defense and kick FGs all day to win this game.....at this point, that should be the game plan. And call it what you will.....i'm not bashing Clemens....just making a sound judgement based on what Clemens has done in the past.
