He spoke about the play in a positive way. He said Mosley's recognized the play and made the right call. He just doesn't want it to be something he has the freedom to do all the time. Can't argue with that... he's HC for a reason.

I'll argue with it. A HC needs to trust his on field leader to adapt. Especially when you got a guy like CJ out there. Business leaders delegate authority, with governance, because those who don't adapt, die. Same in football.

wild to see how they were beat in bunch then Mosely made the call to go zone to confuse RT, that’s smarts, you can’t teach that.

Yeah I agree, it's really not surprising.
This guy has never been anything but a stud in the middle of the field.
He was excellent even as a rookie.

I totally understood the concern about the long absence, and the potential rust.
    That's fair.

But in the eagerness to tear down this team, there were some really bad takes on this board regarding Mosely in the offseason.
That he was wrong side of 30, slow, not a system fit, that he was never very good, that Davis would be the better Mike LB.....none of which was true.
    Was bizarre really.
Looking to jettison a perennial Pro-Bowler at a position of need, while unproven guys like Mims get every excuse, without having done a thing.

Glad to see him bounce back like this.
    We need him.

It was extremely reasonable to expect him to struggle; he hasn't played in almost 2 full years and after watching Lev Bell struggle, it made sense.

As for the coverage backer, Jarrad Davis was supposed to be that guy but he got injured.

He's not the only one in the backfield that's playing well.

I saw some good energy against the Titans... hope it continues.

He was one of the best linebackers in the league and still is.

I never understood the hate for the guy from some fans. He got hurt which is just bad luck and sat out due to Covid in a terrible year anyway. Atleast let him prove himself before bashing the guy considering he was always an elite level player.

Bell is a different situation…RB’s that get run into the ground in college and the pros early on have much shorter shelf lives and will lose it really quickly. I don’t think it has anything to do with “rust”.

how long is he due to be out for?

7 games coming into his 3rd season with the Jets is not a great return if he can't stay on the field (never seemed to have this issue when at the Ravens)
