    I don't thin the Mets have a shortage of cash,

    lets see regional network .... check

    new stadium opening..... check

    larger than average fan base.... check

    high mercahndise sales.... check

    playing in New York City.... check

    The Mets have the money and it's foolish of you to think otherwise.

    Forbes ranks the 2007 Mets as the second most valuable franchise in baseball, at 735 million dollars. AND unlike the Yankees, they have a vision - multi-million dollar partner in Stadium naming rights, young nucleous of stars, predominant position in Latino market.

    it is a perfect marriage, ARod can make all the money he wants, he can keep hitting HRs to try to break Barry's record and not have to worry about any of that October pressure. it's a perfect fit.
