A fan of the Dallas Cowboys that spends a good portion of his time trying to educate New York Jets fans about football for no other reason than his hero worship of a third string quarterback is a nitwit, unless you grew up in Texas and went to the public schools there. Then, you'd be a mensa candidate.
Not educating you on crap, and I do not worship anyone (again you make up stuff and then rip the stuff you make up...its funny to see) . I'm here because it is always fun to serve crow like I did for months last year (and I am still doing across different forums ...just look at my pre season sig from last year below!) and I also belong to 14 other NFL forums and 3 fantasy football leagues one dating back to 1989 and have been a football fan since 1977.just a big fan of the sport. I Love watching Tebow take 29 yard sack, fumble on the next drive then pull of an improbable late crazy drive for the win...he is entertaining if you believe nothing else. I also like him as a human being because of what he does for sick children . last but not least I enjoy getting under other people's skin simply because I am a fan of a person and how they play (whether good or bad). it blows my mind that it can bother someone so much I like Tebow, I find it funny. I like Tebow LOL now you can call me a nitwit and question my intelligence and disparage the state of texas all because I said I like the guy....

I agree its far from funny or entertaining ,the question is how much longer its going to go on for ,The Tebow Sanchez Double act was never going to work ,and a high Percentage of forum members knew this ... we will do well to better 6 n 10 with the offense we have .. The season is all but over :shit:
Thanks for bumping this thread BIGREX. Reading early banter about Tim, Mark, and the Jets gave me some harty laughs. Bumping other threads is going to be a hoot as the season progresses. Don't get me wrong, I want the Jets to win no matter what. Seeing how unrealistic some anti-Tim comments prove to be has it's own entertainment appeal.
On most forums that I participate, the use of smiley faces is encouraged to denote humor. I also appreciated both (rant on - rant off) and (sarcasm on - sarcasm off). These do help since for the last 100,000 years or so our subconscious has been trained to pick up visual and audible signs of emotions that are not conveyed over this electronic media. Prior to posting my first post, I went back and read all of the game threads for 2011 to try to get a feel for the members of these forums. The first few game threads this year show that the low fan base opinions of the team and 1st string QB have not changed since last year. So I wonder if those that post on the game threads or if those that sally into this forum to post venomous remarks are the true Jets fans. They appear to be at the opposite end of the spectrum. It is a game, something you play, why all the antagonism? I am a U of F alum and have been a Gator fan since I first stepped on campus back in Sept. of '63. That isn't to say I cannot root for another team, I've been married to an OSU Buckeye alum for the past 37 years. I like Tim since I followed all of his college and Bronco games. As a former Marine platoon sergeant I understand his work ethic. What I don't understand is where all of these vitriol comments come from. Perhaps Dr. Spock, not Mr. Spock for those of you who don't read books, was wrong. Anyway once I get my 10 posts I'll go back to lurk mode. Semper Fi
