I think Houston landed in the doghouse after missing that blitz pickup vs Tampa. Not that the other rbs have done any better at it. Blalock seems to be coming on the last 10 days or so. I also would have liked to have seen Houston get more touches.

As for Barlow, I am taking a wait and see attitude.

I think Blaylock is the one RB of the group that will adapt to Mangini's system the fastest. Houston is still raw, Washington is a rookie, and Barlow just got here.

Ya' know... I had said that earlier. Because Pennington almost got hurt on that play, it looks like that is the one play that put Houston in the dog house. Like you said, NONE of the RB's have done a good job at pass blocking.... but fair or not, I agree... it was that one play that might have sealed Houston's fate.

Yep, T-Bird I think that is the reason. Maybe they will give him a chance to get out this week. McC was in the doghouse, too and may have escaped it.

Leon has flashed in camp, but needs to learn to block- something they really dont make rbs do at FSU.

Barlow may be the rb who hits the hole quickest and explodes thru it- something that is really needed right now.

Good for blaylock... about Barlow, who knows. If he's not going to start, why is he getting paid 3 or 4 million a year. The fox site said he was counting 8 mil against the cap or something ludicrous like that. Hard to believe. Anyway, I'm not very enamored about either of our current "starting" caliber running backs, as I don't believe either of them are a long term solution.
