I don't think signing Pociask is about getting the playbook. Pats just dumped their #3 TE this morning. So I think Pociask might be a keeper for them.

He's definitely got the talent to be a #3 TE. Pociask is a good blocker and can catch a few passes. Maybe even be a #2 for a TE-challenged team like Atlanta.

It sucks that we spent 2 years working with this guy and now he'll go on to help the Patriots.

I agree. I liked him more the Butterhands Franks. Too bad this one got away.

Hey, maybe Favre is getting the loving he lacked in Green Bay. He's tight with Franks.... Maybe he got the call on this one?

They took Hobson -- got the info they needed and released him.
Now they need updated information on the "O"
They would sign the jet water boy if he was released

He didn't do much last year and lost playing time to a guy that we ended up cutting this year, Kowalewski. But Shotty loves H-backs and this guy would probably be a commodity for Belichick if his pre-season play translates to the regular season.

BTW, I remember a ton of Pats fans coming to this board bashing the Jets for signing released Pats players. I wonder if they got lost.

I don't get the hatred for Franks. He's been Favre's primary endzone target for about a decade.

Hell no. Clowney is fast and looks like he can play, why give Brady another weapon like that? He'll have to make due with Moss and Welker.

Not practice squad, PUP - physically unable to perform list. Players on it have to wait until the 7th week to play. It's for guys with major injuries who aren't serious enough to IR for the year.

Sorry, I misunderstood you. What did they do with Clowney then? He's on the 53 man roster?

Wow. Maybe he isn't hurt that bad then. I'd love to see him back sooner rather than later.

Quit whining about one player...he's depth behind Watson (currently injured and not practicing) and Thomas......

Enjoy Kareem Brown, compliments of last year's stacked Patriot squad......
