You make no sense. The PSL' are 2 years away. Why would you not renew when the tickets are still relativley cheap? I mean, we all have to make decisions in 2 years once the exact cost is laid out in front of us, and we are seething at the possibility, but shit I am going to enjoy the next 2 seasons as much as possible until then.

I agree, I hope we win the SB in the last year of The Meadowlands, this way I can go out on Top!

I'm going to miss the people in my section. Even though we only get together 8 times a year, that's more than a lot of people I know. Whatever we end up doing, there's no way we're all going to be seated together anymore once we all have to pick new spots or drop out.

I can think of some I won't miss. This one guy yells out "MIDDLE OF THE OUTSKIRTS!!!" before every snap. No one knows why. Then there's this guy...every time a female fan of the other team stands up to cheer something he yells, 'SLUT!!!' He seems like a normal guy at kickoff too. 6 beers later he's really angry. LOL

Yeah, I hear that. We have a guy behind us with a voice like a chainsaw and he yells the whole game, always the same stuff--"the middle, the middle!" and "don't come up shawt!!" (heavy NY accent). He's grating and annoying but the worst part is he's usually right.

He's not a belligerent drunk, though, just a loud fan. We've come to enjoy him since we can't shut him up.

I've experienced the loud screamer behind me. It wasn't a pleasant experience. But again, that's just me.

    This is ridiculous

I have been reading about the seat prices and PSLs in he new football stadium, and also how the best seats at the "new" Yankee Stadium will go for $2500.

All of this is such an insult to the fans that I am not calling for a boycott, because I am getting bored with all this "rah-rah" for no reason (other than to make Woody Johnson a rich man).

I have very rarely gone to Jets games because I could not afford the cost. Once these seats seem out of reach (especially after a few more bad years), I just might get bored switch allegiance to other TV programming. And football and baseball owners should take a close look at boxing, and what happened to that sport after the idiots who destroyed it and ran it out of the ground decided to make it impossible for the average fan to watch it.

You younger people probably won't undertsand that boxing was the #1 sport in the United States from the late 1800s through the early 1980s... But, there you go. Look it up! It was! And the NFL could end up in the same boat, IMHO.

I am not 100% sure that they are 2 years away. I hope that is the case but I really believe this push is being made so the PSL can be formally announced in December of this year and it will go into effect next year. (The last year in "Giants Stadium").

I hope I am wrong but it seems like that is what they are building up to. It is sad and as a season ticket holder since 1988 it won't be easy to say goodbye. Although with their rumored PSL costs, they seem to leave me with no choice.

Below is the response I received from the Jets ticket office after "voicing my displeasure" re the consideration of any PSL..thought i'd share although it really doesn't say anything to me other than, "we're sorry, we've got to f&*k u over anyway"

Thank you for your years of support. Jets fans are the most passionate in sports. Your concerns are very important to us and something we take seriously. Your thoughts will help us develop a range of options for seating, pricing and amenities in our new home. Once our financing plan is developed, we hope that you take the time to look it over.
Thanks again for your dedication to our team.
    Go Jets!

It has to be. That's copied, pasted and automatically sent out to anyone who e-mails, I'm sure. I love how they say "Your concerns are very important to us and something we take seriously"--that's like hearing "your call is important to us" while it's not being answered.

btw...don't know if any of you heard Boomer and Carton on FAN this morning....but basically Carton claims he has an inside source that stated we can find out as early as tomorrow what the PSL's are going to be..and it "aint gonna be pretty"
