theoretically. Say if they weren't necessarily "signing bonuses" but a 2008 "roster bonus"? Obviously not the whole nut, but it is a creative way around future cap hits. Or can this not be done?
Or until he's traded....that's why this will be so bad in a couple of years. We won't be able to trade them or release them without taking a killing. Just look at what is happening with Robertson this year. Or Fitzgerald in AZ. People talk about these cap wizards until it's time to pay these guys.
