Next monday starts our run for the trophy. We should really see what this team is made of with the effort we put forth in NE.We have to put our foot on the gas and kick some ass to set the tone for tough road games against the Steelers and Bears(who looked awesome last night). Buffalo is'nt a team anyone should want to play at this point, either,so that is'nt gonna be a walk in the park. We keep talking about how this team hasn't played a complete game as of yet but this is the time of year where we have to turn it up and establish ourselves as one of the powerhouses of the league. All the "lucky" talk will go out the window monday night.I'm predicting a dominent display against the Pats and a big win for our boys. Jets-31 Pats-21
I created a bogus twitter account, and tweeted Rich last week after his article about how the Jets needed a miracle to beat the Bengals. I said "Did you even watch the game? How could you call that a miracle win?" His response:
I didn't say it was exactly the same but it was done SOLEY by the Broncos' center. Kyle Orton was leading the league in passing yards at the time so it's not like he was some "slouch". Who knows what would've happened if they didn't blow that snap.
Exactly the point. Who knows? It's nothing like what happened in the Pitt/Buff game. We all know what happens is he catches that easy TD, the game is over.
This thread does not deserve this number of posts. Cimini needed something to write about, so he picked this because he couldn't find a better (any) angle. It's not like insulted your families or anything.
Lowery fucking creams him and its 4th down with the clock ticking down. They'd get one or two shots at the endzone from 30 yards out
LOL I tweeted him again about the article, saying that his firsts words were "Jets needed another miracle" His response:
I see your point. I just saw the sentence "the Jets have not had that kind of extreme accident by an opponent in any of the close games they've played" and that one rang a bell. It WAS an accident, and we did win the game right there on the spot.
Smith has been delivering the past 2 years and against the Bengals in particular. I could understand if they were down by a TD late in the 4th and then he broke one to the house, but they DOMINATED the second half on defense. I used to like Cimini but I've been slowly growing a dislike for him. He's not very down to earth in person either.
