I'll stick to tapa. I can always bust out my laptop, or wait till I'm home rather to read things I can't see.

    Not really.

Granted Jones was featured in a run-heavy offense, yet in the two years mentioned averaged 210 carries while Ivory averaged 180 carries, or thirty less. Give Ivory 5 per carry and 30 extra carries, doesn't put him close to Jones, in yards nor touchdowns. The o-line was also significantly better, particularly in the run with Faneca. Not a slight to Ivory. I like him as a back. Just highlights Thomas Jones effectiveness those two years. His other year as a Jet, his first, he gained 1100 yards, but scored only 1 TD. He turned in 3 straight, one thousand yard seasons, scoring 28 touchdowns. Chris Ivory is yet to score 28 touchdowns in his career. Enough said.

I just use mobile browsers. Yeah, it's a bit slower than Tapatalk, but I use gestures a lot on my phone so that's the only drawback. I can navigate a mobile browser almost as easily as I can navigate a desktop browser.

Thomas Jones was a decent, reliable back with good vision. Talent and skill wise he couldn't touch Ivory. From a defenders perspective I'm pretty sure 99 out of 100 players would rather face Thomas Jones. And while he was incredibly productive here, he did get 350+ touches per year. Ivory could shatter those numbers this year if he stays healthy and this is the first time Ivory went into the season being the #1 guy. All that without elite blocking. He's getting all those extra yards after contact, by himself. Thomas Jones wasn't exactly a tackle breaking machine.

Ivory is on a tear. His last 2 games:

    170 yards, TD
    150 yards, TD

Averaging close to 7 yards per carry.

A RB who averages 3.1 yards per carry and around 62 yards per game would break 1000 yards for the season, so 1000 yards ain't what it used to be when an NFL season was 12 game long.

He's actually gotten better...improved his game.

Power. He's quicker, gets to the edge faster, makes better reads, is a better pass catcher...what else?

    Who knew??

    You did!! :D

    Certainly a top RB....

Whoever started this Ivory thread is incredibly smart, not to mention devastatingly handsome.

It still amazes me that Ivory went undrafted.
