Minnesota's starting tight end just got knee surgery and may not be ready for the season opener. They traded for a meh depth replacement with upside. The Jets' best edge rusher got injured and his out for the year. They traded for a meh depth replacement with upside. There's a trend here, and it's not Chris Herndon is good.
I'm guessing we gave them the 6th we got from TB for Mclendon and Herndon for a 4th. Not bad. Hopefully we didn't give up our 6th as it is likely going to be much lower than TBs.
True he was surrounded by shit but that dude had WAY too many drops, and then he fumbled the few he caught. I don’t know what happened to him as he had a decent rookie season but between the injuries and suspensions and drops and fumbles, I don’t think it’s a huge loss. Maybe he rebounds on a better team, but he looked so disinterested and lost here that it’s no big loss
How is Ertz a dream??? He has only played in all 16 games once in his career and that was in 2018. He's 30 already, and we'd probably have to give up too much to get him. We can just claim and sign Hollister if Jacksonville doesn't claim him.
There's no way I would trade anything above a 5th round pick to get Ertz. He can't stay healthy, and a player's best ability is "availability."
Eh. The sixth rounders are toss aways. The fourth has significant more value especially in terms of maneuverability. That's prime starting off ball linebacker real estate.
we basically traded jordan willis and chris herndon for shaq lawson and a 4th. that's a win in my book
